Raptor Plumbing is proud to welcome Rodney as President. He will guide our team with a relentless focus on operational excellence and smart technology, ensuring Raptor Plumbing remains the most efficient and technologically sophisticated construction subcontractor in South Florida. Rodney’s path began at the University of Florida, where a summer break led him to Michael Christie Plumbing as a plumber’s helper. Seeking real field experience to later strengthen office operations, he learned the trade from the ground up and discovered a passion for construction, even adding coursework at UF’s construction school. Over the next decade, Rodney advanced through increasingly demanding estimating roles, mastering project costs, schedules, and vendor relationships. In 2022, he became Director of Purchasing for a statewide structural contractor in Florida, expanding his construction expertise while leading high-impact procurement and process improvement initiatives. His curiosity for innovation grew into formal skills in computer programming, with a focus on data analysis, artificial intelligence, and automation. To deepen that foundation, Rodney is currently pursuing a Master’s in Computer and Information Technology at the University of Pennsylvania. Looking forward, Rodney is excited to guide Raptor Plumbing into the future of construction. With his mix of field experience, leadership, and tech skills, he’s focused on helping our team work smarter, build stronger, and set new standards for plumbing and construction in South Florida.

We’re excited to introduce Sean Christie as President of Raptor Plumbing. Sean’s roots in the trade run deep—he began his plumbing career working summers in high school alongside his father, Michael Christie. For decades, the Christie family has been a staple of Palm Beach, serving as the go-to plumbing contractor for custom homes built by many of the region’s premier luxury home builders. While earning his degree at Palm Beach State College, Sean continued working as a plumber, sharpening his skills on the job. After graduating, he committed full-time to the craft, gaining broad field experience with a clear goal in mind: to one day lead the family company. In 2021, Sean became CEO and President of Michael Christie Plumbing. Since then, he has worked tirelessly to grow the organization and expand its customer base, building on the trust and reputation established by his family. Raptor Plumbing is a continuation of that vision. The company expands beyond a specialization in high-end custom homes to deliver excellent plumbing services across production, custom, and commercial projects. Headquartered in West Palm Beach, Raptor Plumbing is dedicated to serving the greater South Florida area with quality, reliability, and professionalism. As President, Sean brings the best of hands-on plumbing expertise and thoughtful business management to guide Raptor Plumbing’s next chapter.
